Convention Highlights

Friday, October 23

The convention begins at 3:30 PM with the third-quarter ACB of Oregon board meeting, offered as a hybrid activity.

After the board meeting, Blindskills will host a Hospitality Suite with snacks, soda, water, and time to visit with other attendees. The Hospitality Suite will also be open at various times during the weekend.

We hope to have a Friday evening Pizza Party followed by Name That Tune, social time, and a music jam session. Bring a favorite tune or musical instrument and join in. A no-host bar will also be available.

Saturday, October 24

Saturday will include the traditional morning convention schedule, followed by activities for in-person attendees. Caeser the No Drama Llama and his handler Larry are scheduled to visit Saturday afternoon. Check the convention program for the final time and location.

Saturday evening is the convention banquet. Our keynote speaker is Scott Thornhill, Executive Director of the American Council of the Blind.

The convention committee is also planning door prizes and a 50/50 raffle.

The Sunday morning membership meeting is an important part of the convention. Members receiving Convention Assistance must attend the entire Sunday Membership Meeting. Roll call is at 9:00 AM.
